VENUE FOR THE WINTER INVESTMENT INSTITUTE FORUM
The Winter Investment Institute Forum will take place at Barings Global Headquarters which is located at 300 S. Tryon Street (at the corner of 3rd and S. Tryon Streets), 26th Floor, Charlotte, NC 28202.

VENUE FOR THE RECEPTION & DINNER ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24TH 
The Winter Investment Institute Reception & Dinner will take place at Merchant & Trade which is located on the rooftop of the Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel, 303 S. Church Street, Charlotte, NC 28202.  https://www.merchantandtrade.com/  Please note the Kimpton Hotel is adjacent to the Barings Global Headquarters building (our conference venue).

AIRPORT
Barings Global Headquarters is about 8 miles (15-35 minutes depending on traffic) from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).

All attendees are responsible for their own travel reservations, transportation and hotel accommodations. The Investment Institute is offering the following discounted hotel room block for a limited time.

PARKING
For those staying at the Kimpton Hotel, valet parking will be available at the hotel (please check with the valet for charges) and there is a corridor on the 3rd floor which connects the Kimpton Hotel to the Barings building.  For those driving directly to Barings Global Headquarters, there is a parking garage immediately next to the building’s entrance.  Parking options and a general map of the area can be found here.

TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN CLT AIRPORT AND THE CONFERENCE VENUE
Individuals are responsible for arrangement and payment of their own travel to and from the forum. Taxis are available outside of baggage claim at CLT Airport. Click here for CLT Airport Ground Transportation Information.

YOUR BIO AND PHOTO
All attendees are welcome and encouraged to submit bios and photos for inclusion in our attendee directory which will be available on our conference app during the conference.  If you haven’t already submitted your materials, please click here or email admin@theinvestmentinstitute.org with the requested items.

DOWNLOAD OUR NEW EVENT APP AND CREATE YOUR PROFILE ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE
Please search the App Store or Google Play to add “The Investment Institute” app to your mobile device.  If you already have the app, we recommend that you delete and re-add it so that you will have the updated version with your personal profile going forward (you’ll receive the code) – otherwise you will only have access to old data.  The app will request that you log in with your email address (this contact info will not be shared with anyone) – we highly suggest that you do so as we will continue to add features to the app as they become available to us and some will only be available to you if you create your own profile in the app.  Use the menu guide on the home screen to choose “The Winter Investment Institute Forum” section of the app in which you will be able to view the agenda, speaker bios, presentations, sponsor information and much more!  Agenda details and other items will be added to the app as they become available.  If you recently updated the app on your mobile device, you may see both our Fall and Winter programs listed.  You can choose which one you wish to view by tapping the menu icon (three lines) in the top left corner of your app’s main screen.  Please note:  Allowing TII’s app to send you notifications will ensure you receive any onsite updates as well.

SUGGESTED ATTIRE
Business casual attire is suggested for the conference on February 24th and 25th as well as the dinner on February 24th.

IMPORTANT POLICY NOTES
The Investment Institute reserves the right to qualify any attendees registering for this event. There will be no refunds for cancellations or no-shows. You may substitute a participant from your own or a similar organization.

MEDIA & PRESS
Media and Press are not permitted at The Investment Institute Forums.

The Investment Institute is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.
